About Me

Mir Mohammad Ali is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aquaculture at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and a dedicated scholar in fisheries, aquaculture, and environmental sustainability. A top-ranking graduate of Patuakhali Science and Technology University, he earned First Class First in both his B.Sc. in Fisheries and M.S. in Aquaculture, receiving prestigious honors including the Chancellor Gold Medal and Prime Minister Gold Medal. With five years of research experience at WorldFish and contributions to nationally and internationally funded projects, his work spans ecotoxicology, public health, coastal and marine aquaculture, climate resilience, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable water resource management. With more than 136 research publications, he continues to advance knowledge that connects aquatic ecosystems, human well-being, and sustainable development.
